Jennifer’s First Day of School

Because the last time I took a college math class was in 1776, it was not shocking that what the professor wrote on the stone tablet white board looked to me a whole lot like this:

It was then that I ugly cried and ran out of the class with my limp arms swinging from side to side, trailing off with “I hate math and I hate all of you!” decided to go see the school councilor and beg my way into fourth grade math for grown ladies a lower level math class.  As it currently stands, no, I am not smarter than a fifth grader, but I am working on it so look out world!

  1. I’m so scared of math. I am about a first-grade level and there has to be pictures for me to even attempt to solve it.

  2. When I got a D in my 2nd college calculus I went to the counseling office and this guy told me I had a fear of numbers.

Somehow I became a hotmofobadassredheadedstfu computer engineer.

You handle your family’s finances right? You can do “math”.

    go kick some…

  3. One of my clients just told me that Biology at KC is hard and she could never pass it until she transferred to A&M (go figure).

  4. Mona, I thought about paying someone to pretend to be me.

Thanks M.M. I need that encouragement.

Crystal. You are gonna rock biology like it’s 1999.

  5. Hey, at least you are smart enough to go down a level. I refused to go down and not only that I got a calculator that DID not fit the class so I flunked bad. :) However, Ted found a book series that he wanted to get for our kids “Math doesn’t suck” and “Kiss my math.” It’s for junior high kids but maybe you can pick it up and learn for the rest of us that math doesn’t suck! :) I have my doubts.

  6. Really, don’t worry. I am not a CPA but I played one on TV, and I HATE math. Accounting is really organization and applying laws with some adding and subtracting. Which I guess is math. Also some multiplication and dividing. Which is more math. But not hard math. I CANNOT do statistics. I can read them, but not do it! Math and me go together like 2+2=5.

I was going to make a series of finance and accounting educational TV using sock puppets…

  7. I always ugly cry every time I have to add numbers larger than 10.
Math sucks, you are creative, word-linguist people. THE END.

  8. I love you Tim. Thank you. Honestly you made my day!

    True dat Rebecca.
