A cry for help?

Photo courtesy of my friend, and roach enthusiast, Selena G.*AKA* I lifted it from her myspace photos w/o permission.
This is a photo of a “roach house” at the zoo. It is in a glassed area where they keep all the reptiles, spiders and other various creepy crawlies.
What is disturbing, is that the roach house is way cleaner than mine right now. I also find it depressing that I squinted at the food on the table and said out loud “that looks down right delicious?” But I’ll bet that roach has a maid, a cook, and is sans three sick and whiny kids. The roach of the house isn’t even home. I’ll bet she is out getting a mani pedi, and drinking a pellegrio spiked with lime while she lazily flips through a Ready Made magazine.
Sweet crap on a stick I’m jealous of a roach? (Who lives a pampered life in a box at the zoo.) This one may take a while to explore in therapy. It does not take me long to develop a mean case of cabin fever. 12 hours tops, and I’m climbing the walls (wishing I was a roach at the zoo.)
I would never, ever make it in a climate that had long winters.
We attempted to get out last night. Turns out this virus, that has afflicted 50% of our family, is a trick virus. It came back after a day of being well. It also turns out that spontaneous bowling alley trips will trigger said virus. P.S.A: Bowling Alley=not good post virus hang out.  You live. You learn. *Deep Sigh*
