Reflection

This year was full of joy, and triumphs for our family. I feel I have broken down walls, climbed mountains, and gained enlightenment in the most fundamental ways. My foundation is stronger, my skin is thicker, and my outlook brighter than ever. It was the kind of mentally and spiritually boosting year that challenged me to be more than I thought I could be.. Breaking through the glass ceiling so to speak. It was extraordinary in an ordinary way. I do have my resolutions like everyone else, but would like to take a moment to focus on the good. Let’s reflect shall we?
~We found an amazing Church
~We paid off four credit cards, one car, and all miscellaneous debt
~I joined a fledgling women’s book club that has turned out to be an amazing source of wisdom and inspiration for me. How refreshing to find like-minded women that you enjoy SO much! We talk finances, love, motherhood, women’s issues, politics, and everything in between. I am grateful in only a way a drowning woman can be for this special circle. I love my new friends dearly.
~ I have made new friends and reconnected with long lost friends
~I have become more politically active on issues that are near and dear to me
~Having wiggled another year into my 30’s I have never felt more sure of myself, and comfortable in my own skin. 30’s are fantastic!
~Lucas has insurance!
