In the last three days I have:
1. Been asked to be a voting judge for the Democratic party in the next presidential election
2. Attended a two hour Catholic Mass
3. Entertained 40 people in my home
4. Ate half a tray of leftover baklava
Aside from number four who are you, where did you hide Jennifer’s corpse?

What’s a voting judge?

You greet people at the voting location, check I.D.s , and make sure nothing fishy is going down. You wanna do it? Perform a civic duty and make 75.00 all in one 12 hour period.

I so want to do it. Last year as I walked in to vote I said to myself that I would love to do that job. There were nothing but old folks at my school but that would be fun too.

I’ve been a voting judge - there are no qualifications and you make $75. My hubby even gets paid from his job, the same he would make for Jury Duty.
All day long I feel so proud to be an American! It’s almost a silly little high - We vote, we have rights and responsbilities, I’m a good citizen. Voting is AWESOME and all that.
I even tear up when the 18 year olds come in to vote for the first time and I tell them how proud I am of them!
I’m a big old patriotic dork. Just call your dem or rep party and tell them you want to volunteer. (they try to keep the representatives equal - though you’re not allowed to campaign or influence the vote, obviously)
They may be full this time - but then they’ll call you for the next time.
