Beef Straganoff in the Crock
Beef Stroagnoff
Prep time: 15 min. Cook time: 10 hours
2 lbs beef stew meat
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1 can (10 3/4 oz) of condensed golden mushroom (do not sub with cream o’ mush…this is very important!)
1 can condensed cream of onion soup
2 jars sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 tsp pepper
1 package egg noodles
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 8 oz container sour cream
chopped or dried parsley
1. Mix beef, onion, soups, mushrooms and pepper in 3-6 qt slow cooker
2. Cover and cook onlow heat for 8-10 hours
3. About 15 minutes before serving cook and drain noodles. Meanwhile stir cream cheese into beef mixture until melted. then stir in sour cream.
4. Serve beef mixture over noodles. Sprikle with parsley.
