I still think our bill would have been well over 200.00 if we hadn’t have closely watched our energy intake. Crazy stuff. But, on the bright side almost all of our other bills have dropped dramatically. I cancelled Net flix (sniff, sniff,) went down to the most basic satalite package 24.00 a month (haven’t noticed one single difference except not having the DVR,) and our water bill was unprecidently low. Our nieghbors on both sides had water bills in the 200-295 range the past few months. We lowered ours to 68.00, and we have many flower beds, and almost an acre of lot to water. I got both phone bills lowered too, so I’m proud of that even if the electric bill was on the high side.

As strange as it sounds being thrifty is fun to me. I feel like I am on to something, and it’s exciting. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been frugal, but I’m taking it to a whole new level. Lol! Even Aaron is starting to show big changes, and actually gets excited about garage sailing with me now.
