The living room is done!

We did run into a few problems with the blinds, so i need to make a trip to lowes tommorow and exchange what we have for something different on the big windows because ble blinds are too short. I have learned through this experience that big, long windows=expensive, big, long blinds. wink

The boys and I finally went to see Ice age ll today, and it was really cute. I took the little dudes to Target to pick out Aaron’s father’s day presents, and let them pick out what they wanted to get him all on thier own with no influence from me. Jonas picked out a superman shirt, but had a hard time between choosing that or a shirt that said “vader was framed.” Jack used his own money and bought his daddy a Nepoleon Dynomite pen set, and matching magnetic frame for the fridge. Ha! Aaron loved them so much (or at least said he did.) It was precious.

Then Aaron’s sisters, and parents came over for a nice visit. One of his sisters is visiting from Las Vegas (soon to be Pheonix.) My brother-in-law is a recruiter for the airforce and they have moved quite a few times in the past four years, so it’s always a treat to get to visit with them.

We had a great time having coffee, eating cookies, and carrot cake, and discussing such things like the hillarity of this SNL clip, and how crazy we thought the “grizzly man” was. ]]>
