Fifteen Loads
The van is gonna cost 1,300.00 to get fixed. We debated on weather or not to fix it because she is so old, but concluded that it is STILL cheaper than a car payment in the end. I refuse to ever buy a brand new car again, and love my van. (Her proper name is Melinda ‘Meat wagon’ in refrence to all the bodies she has hauled in her life for Welch funeral home.) She was in bad shape. Needed new rear and front brake pads, struts, new tie rods, (which were starting to shred the inside of my back tires) two new tires, shocks, a front end alignment, and a new headlight lens. sigh. I had no idea it was that bad, but suspected multiple problems going on.
It’s been such a busy week for us though. I have slowly been getting the yard cleaned up, and have been pruning hydrangas, trees, and bushes, raking and cleaning out flower beds. When mom gets her house finnished we are going to have a garage sale after we clean out the storage building and garage. Oh, and the burn ban was lifted, so hopefully we can burn the moutain of leaves, and limbs we have acumulated over the weekend. Yay!
I’ve been decluttering one room at a time starting in the kitchen. Got rid of lots of stuff in there. I even let go of a crock pot. Now really, does one need FOUR crock pots? In my defence they are all different sizes. Lol.
Stephanie, I feel a clothing exchange party coming on.
