Oh NO, it seems to be our turn!!!
At least we made it though to today without the virus hitting. It just sucks eggs because Aaron is NEVER off, but he is hopefull that Lucas doesn’t have a virus, and it was a fluke.
Lucas fell down some really steep stairs and landed on his head today. He seems to be OK, but it hurt him bad and scared the living daylights out of me!! It is so hard going over to non-childproofed houses with him. You have to watch every second. My Grany had blocked off the stairs with this big piece of panneling that was cut to fit over them. Well, Mr. Lucas climbed it like a pro when no one was looking and went upstairs, and when he was comming down flipped backwards and slid down the panneling at the speed of light and then bounced twice on his head. I saw it happen from across the room and all I could do was yell “OMYGODOMYGOD!!” He was shaken up, but seems fine, and just has a bump below his eye.
Then as if we didn’t have enough excitement Jonas got hit in the face with a big stick durring a “star wars light saber fight” with his cousin Harrison. So, now he has a big scratch from his forehead, across his eye, down to his cheek. I saw this happen too (having some stellar mommy moments today I tell ya) and it truly was an accident. It looks pretty bad and is all puffy and red. Ahhh, just in time for Christmas photos. HA!
My Aunt Leah felt terrible, but it’s OK they are boys, and boys you know will be, well, boys.
To spite all the above events, it still was a great time. I love my family so much, the food was amazing, and we all enjoyed chatting around the table eating pie. The kids played for hours with all thier cousins while the grown ups told all the good stories from years past that we have heard a million times, but still laugh our brains out over. It was a god day, and I am thankfull. God is good.]]>
