It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas

Today Jody and I were talking about cute things our kids say or used to say, and one of them was that her oldest son used to call the T.V a “P.B,” and he is so big now! They grow up far to fast.

A few of my kids classic slips of the tongue were as follows:

~ Jack used to say instead of “for goodness sake” (in santa clause is comming to town) would say “goodness SNAKE.” Imagine that poor kids visual, sheesh.

~Jonas calls his “Arth Bader” (Darth Vader) cape a “cake.”

I once worked with someone who called the hot and crunchy chicken “hot and CHUNKY CHICKEN” I told her time and time again that things you eat at a resturant are much less apetizing if they are described as “chunky,” but it never seemed to make much difference. This same person dubbed the chefs famous throw all the leftovers in a soup that he wanted us to call chicken, beef, with vegtable soup “barnyard soup.” Ha! I loved that one. ]]>
